Hanazono Shrine

花園神社
Hanazono Shrine is a shrine that has occupied the most important position in Naito Shinjuku as the chief guardian of Shinjuku since ancient times. It is said that the Tokugawa clan was solicited from Yoshinoyama in Yamato Province before entering Musashi Province. The site of the company before Kanei was located in the area of present-day Isetan Co., Ltd., and was a sacred area that stretched 65 from east to west and 75 from north to south. It is said that when Asakura Chikugo Mori received the Shimoyashiki, the shrine was also enclosed within the Shimoyashiki, and the reason for this was appealed, and the present shrine land was worshipped as a substitute.
