Higashi-Fushimi Inari Shrine
東伏見稲荷神社This shrine was founded in Showa 4 as a branch of the Fushimi Inari Shrine (Kyoto Shrine). The god of the festival is the Great Ancestor God who protects all aspects of human life, including food, clothing, and shelter, and is the guardian of the Imperial City and the Great Grace of All People.
This shrine was built with the fervent desire of the Kanto area Inari believers to dedicate the spirit of Fushimi Inari Ōkami, and the cooperation of the Fushimi Inari Shrine, which is trying to make it convenient for Inari believers to visit the shrine and to correct and purify false beliefs such as superstitions.
The name of the shrine Higashi-Fushimi means that it is a shrine that has been moved east from Fushimi, Kyoto. At the same time as the arrival of the Goreidai from Kyoto, the former Kamihoya Station on the Seibu Line was renamed Higashi-Fushimi Station, and the place name was also changed to Higashi-Fushimi.
