The founding of the Hikawa Shrine is said to be in the upper Tokugawa period, and according to the new edition of the Musashi Fudo Chronicle, it can be seen that the shrine was exempt from the annual tribute from the middle of the Genroku year, and the shrine deity enshrined the Sojo Shrine and made it the guardian deity of the former Kirigaya Village, and on September 13, the 40th year of the Meiji era, Hachiman Shrine, Suwa Shrine, and Hirochi Shrine were enshrined in Motomura and continue to this day.
