


Rai Shrine
雷神社In 1713, in the middle of the Edo period, this region was struck by lightning repeatedly, and the fields were desolate, the vegetation withered, and the land became a wasteland.
It is said that the villagers built a great god of thunder after consultation and built a shrine in the center of the shrine grounds to pray for the safety of the townspeople and a bountiful harvest of five grains.
