Rai Shrine

雷神社
In 1713, in the middle of the Edo period, this region was struck by lightning repeatedly, and the fields were desolate, the vegetation withered, and the land became a wasteland. It is said that the villagers built a great god of thunder after consultation and built a shrine in the center of the shrine grounds to pray for the safety of the townspeople and a bountiful harvest of five grains.
