Sameshu Hachiman Shrine
鮫州八幡神社It is the general guardian of the former Mibayashi Town (later Oi Samesu Town, now Higashioi 1-chome, part of Higashi-Oi 2-chome, and 4-chome).
Although the date of its founding is not very large, it is said that it already existed around the time of Kanbun (1661~1673). In the precincts, there are lanterns and komainu donated by fishermen who seem to be the guardians of the fishermen's town.
The shrine deities include Honda Besson, Kinagaashi Himeson, and the Hakusan Shrine's Iso and Iso, which were enshrined on August 14, Showa 4.
In addition, the shrine of Inari Shrine (commonly known as the Inari Shrine of the Rising Inari Shrine), Itsukushima Shrine (commonly known as the Shark Shrine of the Shrine of the Shrine of Ichikishima), and the Shrine of the Fishermen (commonly known as the Water Shrine of the Shrine of the Sacred Goddess Watatsumi Shrine) are also enshrined in the precincts.
