Sango Shrine
三囲神社The founding of this company was a thousand years ago, and there is a lot of progress in the past. The shrine was rebuilt after suffering a fire during the Motogame year, and in the Keicho year, it was moved to a site about two streets south of the old shrine site when the Sumida River embankment was built.
But in the midst of the great drought in June of the sixth year of Genroku, there was a great rain, and the next day there was a heavy rain. In particular, when the Mitsui family advanced into Edo, a huge merchant in Kyoto, he was deeply worshipped by the Sankoku Ōkami and looked up to him as the guardian deity of the family, and in the first year of Kyoho, Mitsui Takaharu Mitsui Takahisa Mitsui Takafusa Counciled and begged for the priesthood of the Yoshida family. And in the twelfth year of his reign, he beggared the second rank of the Imperial Court, and transferred the temple to the shrine, and dedicated the land to the shrine, and to rebuild the temple and the fence.
He has inherited the aspirations of his ancestors from generation to generation, and continues to this day with reverence. We will strive to maintain the shrine in the past, and we will establish the Three Lectures and make efforts to enshrine the shrine.
Among the many shrines in the precincts, the great god Ebihi is known as one of the seven lucky gods of the Sumida River, and the plaques dedicated to the shrine are mostly related to the Mitsui family, and the inscriptions of the famous families that can be laid among the trees are many of them.
