Sarutahiko Shrine

At the time of the advent of the Heavenly Grandson, Sarutahiko Ōkami was enlightened by Amano Hachi, and led the Heavenly Son to Takachiho. After that, he was sent to Tenyu and came to the river of Isuzu in Ise, and it is said that he is the god of the landowner who pioneered and guided the land widely around here. As the main headquarters of Sarutahiko Okami, Tsubaki Dai Shrine (Suzuka City, Mie Prefecture) is built near Mifune Iwaza near the tomb of Sarutahiko Okami. This shrine was founded by soliciting the spirit of Sarutahiko Ookami from this Tsubaki Dai Shrine. Since ancient times, Ōkami has been said to exorcise disasters at the beginning of things and guide all things to the best of all, and in particular, prayers for groundbreaking ceremonies, compass protection, disaster protection, construction, relocation, business opening, prosperity of commerce and industry, good harvests, good fishing, and good luck have been applied for from all over the country.
