Yorakuji Temple
與楽寺It was built about 500 years ago.
The Jizo Bodhisattva of the Gohonzon is said to be the work of Kobo Daishi. When the bandits broke into the temple, a large number of monks appeared out of nowhere and drove the bandits away. The next morning, the Gohonzon's feet were stained with mud, and before I knew it, it came to be called "Jizo to ward off bandits."
