Yoyogi Hachimangu

代々木八幡宮
It was founded on September 25, 1212, in the second year of the Kamakura period. In mourning for the assassination of the second shogun, Minamoto Yoriie, at Shuzenji, one of his servants, Arai Gaiki, Tomoakira, left the house and changed his name to Soyu, and while mourning Bodhi, one night he received a divine mirror in a reimer, which is said to be the beginning of the shrine when he initiated the founding of Hachimangu Shrine and built a shrine on the land of Yoyogi.
