Kameido Katori Shrine
亀戸 香取神社Our company was founded in the fourth year of Emperor Tenchi (665), when Prince Fujiwara Kamashi sent a ship to this turtle island when he was on his way down to the eastern part of the country, and he was invited by Katori Ōkami to pay a single sword, pray for the safety of his journey, and worship the gods.
In the old days of Tianqing, when the Taira Shomon caused a rebellion, the envoy Tawara Fujitahidego came to our company and prayed for victory in battle, and when he went to battle, he was so conspicuous that he offered a bow and arrow as a tribute of gratitude to the gods, and it was named Katsuya. Even now, the Katsuya Festival is held on May 5 due to this reason.
Since then, the people have been revered more and more, and not only is he the guardian deity of the local area, but his divine virtues have spread in all directions, so he has come to be honored and worshipped as Katsushika Shrine Katorita Shrine. (Katsushika at that time meant most of Shimoso Province.) ）
The section of the Genroku 10-year inspection site is again attached to the shrines and temples, and it is also listed in the Tokugawa family's shrine and temple book, and is counted among the 12 ancient sites of the ancient capital.
