Kasama Inari Shrine Tokyo Betsusha
笠間稲荷神社 東京別社Kasama Inari Shrine Tokyo Bessha, which currently sits in Japan Bridge Hamacho 2-chome in Tokyo, is also called Monzaburo Inari and was the residence of the former Kasama Domain lord Makino.
325 years ago, in the ninth year of Enpo, Makino Narisada received the land from the fifth shogun Tsunayoshi as a lower mansion, and it has an area of 21,269 tsubo (about 70,000 square meters) from the Ogawa Bridge and Kagahama Bridge in front of the current Hisamatsu Police Station to the Sumida River. I had visited the residence more than 30 times, and it was a truly impressive procession of more than 450 people in total. The Makino residence in Hamamachi was subsequently replaced, and in the seventh year of culture, it became 7,900 tsubo (26,000 square meters), and in that year 1,350 tsubo (4,450 square meters) was given to Hosokawa Koshinakamori. When Makino Sadamichi entered Kasama in the fourth year of his life, he followed the precedent and made the shrine of his head office, Hutoshita Inari Shrine, a place of prayer. Prince Makino Sadanao also revered the head office and enshrined the spirit of the 6th year of Ansei at the present site in the Edo Shimoyashiki and made a sincere reverence. It is said that on the first day of the day, the gates were opened to the citizens of the Japan Bridge area and worshipped the shrine.
After the abolition of the domain, the Makino official residence was moved to Honjo Midorimachi, and in the 21st year of the Meiji era, at the request of the Makino family, the head office of Kasama became a place of dedication. In September of the 12th year of the Taisho era, the shrine was destroyed by fire in the Great Kanto Earthquake, but it was immediately rebuilt. In March of the 20th year of the Showa era, the shrine was destroyed by fire in the Tokyo air raid, and it was very difficult to reconstruct it, but in December of the same year, the main shrine and temporary shrine office were completed with the assistance of the head office, and in September of the same year, the worship hall was rebuilt thanks to the efforts of the worshippers.
In the 32nd year of the same year, the company office, in the 33rd year of the following year, the Tamagaki, and in the 53rd year of the same year, the main hall was completed.
Centered on Japan Bridge, Monzaburo Inari gathers a deep faith and makes it convenient for worshippers of Kasama Inari Shrine in the Keihin area to visit.
