Kokuryi Shrine
國領神社This shrine is called Kokuryo Shrine, and during the Kamakura period (1192-1333), it was located on the banks of the Tama River in Sugimori, but due to repeated floods, it was relocated to 148 Kokuryo-cho (now Yakuundai 1-chome) as a shrine of the shrine.
In the 37th year of the Showa era, a shrine hall was built and enshrined in the precincts of Yakumo Shinmeisha (current location), and the company name was collectively called Kokuryo Shrine.
The clan area covers Kokuryo Town, Yakuundai, and Someji District. The wisteria tree in the temple grounds (one of the eight views of Chofu City) has been said to be a thousand-year-old wisteria since ancient times, and because it grows well, it leads to Fuji (safely) and prevents disasters, and is famous as a sacred tree for prolonging life, childbirth, and business prosperity.
