Nakano Hikawa Shrine
中野氷川神社This shrine is the general shrine of the former Nakano Village, and it is said that it was founded in the third year of Chogen (1030) by the Hikawa Shrine in Omiya City, Saitama Prefecture, which is the shrine of Musashiichi. There is also a legend that the shrine was renovated during the Muromachi period, so it can be seen that the shrine was old along with the development of Nakano Village.
The three pillars of the festival are Susano, Inada Hiyori, and Omi Takason, and the annual festival is held on September 14th and 15th, but originally it was held on the 26th and 27th.
In the Edo period, the Sogoma Parade was held, and the Yutachi Kagura was raised, and the clans of Yodobashi, Kamijuku, Boarding House, Nishimachi, Nakajuku, Uchikoshi, Go, and Hara competed in the beauty of the banners and lanterns of their respective districts. In Toyonen, lion dances, sumo wrestling, and rikishi comparisons were also held, and it was a grand event in the vicinity. The pilgrimage of the Meiji and Taisho periods is still talked about.
In addition to the medieval stone komainu in the worship hall, there are many relics in the precincts that tell the history of Nakano.
