Sakurada Shrine
櫻田神社In the fourth year of his reign (1180), by order of Minamoto Yoritomo, he was enshrined outside the Kasumigaseki Sakurada Gate as Kasumiyama Sakurada Myojin. In 1624, it was moved to its current location. In the fifth year of Bunji (1189), Prince Yoritomo donated 30 kan of fields, and in order to distinguish them from the fields of ordinary farmers, he planted cherry blossoms on the banks of Mikanda, which is said to be the origin of "Sakurada".
