Yutenji Temple

祐天寺
In the 3rd year of Kyoho (1718), Yutenjojin, who was famous as a high priest, passed away. His disciple Yuumi inherited the will of his superior, who had long wanted to build a nenbutsu dojo in Meguro, and although it was forbidden to build a new temple, he obtained special permission from the shogunate and opened it in the 8th year of Kyoho (1723).
