Zenlin Temple
禅林寺In the twelfth year of Genroku (1699), the building collapsed due to a typhoon in August, so Matsunobo returned the temple and shrine land to the village because it was impossible to rebuild the temple and shrine. Therefore, after consultation, the villagers begged the former Zen master of the Yellow Wood sect, Kenshu, who was located in Ishihara, Edo Honsho, to build a temple and shrine.
Thus, at the request of all the villagers to the government, in December of the 13th year of Genroku, the name was changed to Huang Tang Sect Reisenzan Zenrinji Temple, and the management of the temple progressed steadily, and the management of the temple progressed steadily, and the mountain was opened by the Meiling Dōsetsu Zen master under the Huang Tang Daibō Gate, who was revered by the great and small names under the heavens at that time, and Kenshu Zen Master himself became the first generation to serve as the mission of the sect, and became the direct sue temple of the Huang Tang sect Daihonzan Manfukuji, which continues to the present.
It was separated from Hachimansha by the "Separation of Shinto and Buddhist Shrine" decree in the first year of the Meiji era, and Shosen-in (which managed Hachimansha) and Entsu-an, which were the heads of the tower, were merged into the main temple around the time of the abolition of Buddhism.
